Who we are
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect two types of data:
- Information directly about you submitted through the contact form e.g. your email address and name. We collect this so we can respond to any questions or queries you have about stewardship economy.
- Information that does not directly identify you (e.g. how you might browse the site). Specifically, this includes your IP address through the placement of cookies. The cookies we collect will not impact what you see on site. The purpose of these cookies is to enable us to undertake analytics to provide information about traffic to the site.
Embedded content from other websites
There are some films on stewardship-economy.org which are embedded. The content of the film is hosted on YouTube. This embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
We won’t share your contact details with third parties.
How long we retain your data
We will keep details submitted in the contact form for 3 years, unless we get express permission from you to do so for longer. After 3 year we will delete all records.
What rights you have over your data
If you have submitted a contact form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Data may be sent outside the EEA to the data centres provided by Dropbox (data storage) and Google (email use). These companies have data protection policies and obey the relevant laws and restrictions.
